Recall Simulation Plan

Structure a recall simulation so the team can test escalation, decision-making, traceability, communication routes and documented follow-up.

What should I prepare?
Input guidance. Good simulation inputs should capture scenario assumptions, roles involved, timing, decision points, evidence retrieved, communication gaps and corrective actions.

Method and output

How to use the tool

Work through the planning stages before the exercise starts.

  • Reference: define site, reference, date and facilitator.
  • Protocol: define roles, RP oversight and escalation route.
  • Scenario and test: define trigger, trace target and acceptance criteria.
  • Export: copy or print the plan for controlled review.

How to interpret the output

The output should be clear enough to support a mock recall plan: what is being tested, how success will be judged, who is involved and how learning will be converted into action.

  • Missing objective, trace target, roles or acceptance criteria means the plan is not ready.
  • Planning gaps should be closed before running the exercise.
